Welcome to the Alternative Learning Center - West.  I am the Spanish teacher at ALC.  I was born in Nicaragua.  I came to the United States at the age of 10.  I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish.  I began my teaching career in 1999. I believe that with a great deal of effort and dedication anyone can learn a second language.
