I was born in Lufkin, TX. I grew up in northwestern New Mexico, graduated from High School in a suburb of Chicago, IL, and graduated from Baylor University in 1972 with a BS in Secondary Education. I have 20 years experience working in the business community. I also taught at a Montessori Pre-school for 10 years. Since 1995, I have been an ALC instructor in the areas of Teen Leadership and Physical Education. I am a certified ROPES facilitator and have taken students and staff members to one of the district's ROPES courses since 1997. Our goal at the ALC is to help students make better decisions that will follow them throughout their lifetime.
