Welcome to Algebra II K and MMA! This is the beginning of my 8th year teaching and my fourth year at Cy-Fair High School. Before I came into the teaching profession I worked as a graduate structural engineer for a local company.
I was born in Wisconsin and also lived in New York before my family moved to Houston in 1986. I went to Campbell Jr. High and Cypress Creek High School. After high school I went to Texas A&M University in College Station where I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. Following graduation I went to work in the business world for 7 years.
I met my husband at work and this summer we were married 12 years. We have two boys and two miniature dachshunds. Our oldest son will start 4th grade this year and our youngest will start 2nd grade.
I left the business world because I had always wanted to teach. I am very excited to be a part of your child's education and look forward to a wonderful year.
