Welcome to Senior English! I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008 with a major in English and a minor in History and Classical Studies. I began my first year teaching at Langham Creek High School. But now I am here at Cy-Fair to stay!
Often in my classes, my students not only learn about literature and typical "English" things, they also learn about how literature often shapes society or even how society shapes literature! I have heard that teachers teach so that they can get summers off. But really, teachers teach because they care, because young people is "what we do best!" But this vocation is so much more. It is a lifestyle and a passion. I live and breathe English, literature, and history. I live and breathe to help students become better than they were. Hopefully, we take this journey through literature together.
I am a third year teacher, and I look forward to making this year amazing with each of you!!!
