Mr. Green is a graduate of Broken Arrow High School; he has a bachelor's degree in Music Education from Oklahoma State and a Masters degree in Percussion Performance from Middle Tennessee State University.

Mr. Green has been a teacher, performer, composer and clinician throughout Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. During his time of study at Oklahoma State with Professor Wayne Bovenschen he participated in virtually every ensemble that included percussion. In 2001 Mr. Green placed 6th in the Percussive Arts Society Marimba Competition and 3rd place with the OSU PASIC Drumline held in Nashville, TN. He also had his first experience with drill design on the instructional staff for the 2002 Oklahoma State Winter Percussion Ensemble.

As Graduate teaching assistant at Middle Tennessee State University studying with Professor Lalo Davila, Mr. Green worked with the MTSU Marching Band Drumline, Conducted the Percussion Ensemble, taught Percussion methods, private lessons and Salsa Band and performed with the Wind Ensemble and Steel Band. Mr. Green most of all enjoyed his time singing and playing drum-set for the salsa/latin-jazz group Pachanga.

After completing his masters degree Mr. Green took a percussion specialist position at Elkins High School in Missouri City , Texas. During his time at Elkins he taught and arranged for the marching band drumline as well as the indoor percussion ensemble. (2005 TCGC 2nd Place Open Class 2006 TCGC Open Class Champions) Mr. Green also performs percussion locally with the Sugar Creek Orchestra and Stafford Community Theatre musicals and was recognized in 2005 as a future leader in the Percussive Arts Society.

Mr. Green has been a member of several successful music groups such as the 1998 Glassmen, 1996 Nite Express and 1995 Delta Brigade Drum and Bugle Corps and 1996 Black Gold Indoor drumline.

Mr. Green is a member of the Percussive Arts Society, Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association and is an educational endorser for Innovative Percussion Corporation.
