This is Mark Regan (not Reagan like the president... Reeeeeegan). He's been teaching at Cy-Falls High School for about 8 years. I know, that's hard to believe since he still looks so young. He graduated from Southwest (which they inconveniently renamed Texas State) with a biology degree. Its kind of ironic since he's taught IPC, Physics, Chemistry, and Astronomy... but never biology. This year, Mr. Regan will be teaching 4 sections of Astronomy along with 1 TAKS prep course. He's looking forward to an amazing year with plenty of student success.
Mark is a total geek nerd. Ever since he started teaching astronomy and learning things about astronomy, he won't quit talking about it. On top of that, he is obsessed with comic book characters even though he has never looked at a comic book. He mostly likes the movies and cartoons. Plus he likes to play with his dolls... I mean, action figures. He fondly remembers when he lived in California where he would frequently enjoy some long walks off short piers. Actually all of his family still lives there so he often goes back to Huntington Beach to see them. Mark is the youngest of 7 children, which should explain a lot about him. He loves sports. He's a huge Los Angeles Dodgers fan, Chicago Bears fan, Anaheim Ducks fan, and USC fan. Even though he won't admit it, he also secretly roots for the Los Angeles Clippers. And just to make things more interesting, he roots against every Houston team. Its just better that way. Mark loves the outdoors, camping and hiking. He's a big fan of music... but only good music. Yes, Pearl Jam still rules. But most of all, Mr. Regan appreciates gravity and is eagerly looking forward to the year 2012.
