I graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in English and Kinesiology. I have been teaching in Cy-Fair ISD my whole teaching career, opening up Thornton Middle School and then tranferrring here to CyFalls. 

 

I enjoy teaching English to students and hope I can influence them to love learning as much as I do!  I also  coach 9th grade volleyball and JV softball here and love being involved with those sports and kids, too. 

Impacting students' lives and making a difference in the world has always been a goal of mine, so teaching has always been a goal for me as a career.

 

I love the  NFL and am an avid Texans fans, and,  yes, I have season tickets!   My twin sister graduated from UT, so I also support the Longhorns on the collegiate level.  I love the outdoors and enjoy camping, which usually includes kayaking and fishing (sometimes known as just "feeding the fish" if it's a bad day).  I also enjoy traveling and like experiencing new places.
