I am originally from New Orleans, LA. I relocated here post Hurricane Katrina. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and now I am a alternative teacher in Health Science Technology. This will be my second year teaching. I have about 15 years of experience in the medical profession. I started out as a medical assistant and eventually became a Registered Nurse. I graduated from William Carey College School of Nursing in New Orleans, LA. I worked as a pediatric nurse at Tulane University Hospital. I love taking care of kids. Now, I also love teaching them.
I love to spend time with my family and friends. One of my favorite pasttimes is going into model houses and taking in decorating tips. I am a very positive and I love to help people realize that for every negative, you can come up with atleast 3 positives. I strongly encorage positive behavior!!! I treat every student in my class as my own child. I have 2 sons and anything that I do for them, I will do for my students. I love everyone. I am looking forward to a very exciting, challenging and academically successful 2009-10 school year.
