I love teaching... US Government or US History... regular students, college students, AP students, students who need just a little more time (like me on technology!) Professionally, I earned a BA in Political Science, a Doctorate in Jurisprudence and a Masters in Secondary Education. I’ve been teaching in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD for 20 years and working with Lone Star College System since its beginnings with CFISD. This semester my schedule includes 2 on-level government classes and 4 AP/Dual/H government classes.

 

What do I believe? --1) You get out of school what you put into it; learning is a "two-way street." 2) Obtaining your dream is not as important as having one and trying to obtain it. 3) Quality beats quantity anytime. 4) Learning is more important than grades as grades can only reflect a small portion of what one has learned. 5)And one more my Dad taught me, "Work first, then play."

 

Looking to the left column, you will see many useful links for you to use throughout this course. The AP units will be updated and deleted as needed. The US Government - 1st and 4th site will display different materials (handouts, assignments, review sheets, and occasionally powerpoint notes) for each unit.
