MIchael Vasquez is the head band director at Cy Woods High School since the opening of the school in 2006. Prior to the position here at Cypress Woods High School, Mr Vasquez has taught at Hamilton Middle School, Westfield High School, Twin Creeks Middle School, and High School for the Visual and Performing Arts.
Mr.Vasquez still enjoys performing with many musical organizations thoughout the Galveston-Houston area including the Houston Symphony Orchestra, The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra, Houston Grand Opera Orchestra, Houston Ballet Orchestra, Texas Opera Theatre Orchestra, Ebony Opera Ochestra, Theatre Under the Stars Ochestra, Choralis Brass Arts, Metropolis Brass, and many other organizations throughout the area.
