Born and raised in Houston I attended school in Spring Branch ISD. I then went on toTexas A&M and earned a B.S. in Education, and a Masters in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. As a child advocate I am enjoying my 28th year in education. My career began in the classroom teaching Kindergarten with a specialization in reading. I then moved into Elementary Counseling followed by being the Counselor and Director of the Special Opportunity School, and then to the wonderful world of Langham Creek High School. In addition to Guidance and Counseling I am an experential educator with the ROPES program and a parenting educator for the district. My passion in life is empowering others to reach their fullest potential.
