Conference time: B-Lunch, 5th (Team Planning)

Other: I am the coach of the boys lacrosse team, which is in its second year as a club sports team here at LCHS. I also teach as an adjunct professor in the Government Department at Lone Star College and am a licensed attorney in the State of Texas.

My goal is to help students research, analyze, and answer the question "why?" about our world. Juniors and seniors are at the point in their students careers where they can more easily learn and answer the "who", "what?", "when?", and "where?" questions. As they are being challenged on the question of "how" our world works, I want to be the teacher who also moves them into the realm of understanding the motivations behind our national, international and personal political, economic and social decisions. It is only at this point that students can begin to evaluate our world and determine how they want to make an impact on it in the future.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts and Baylor University Law School with a Juris Doctorate. I practiced law as a civil trial attorney for more than 10 years, love to play, referee and coach lacrosse, and enjoy spending time with my children, traveling, reading, watching UT football, and learning.
